I can’t believe this is my baby! Is this normal for a dr appt?

Hi guys! This is my first Bebe ☺️ the doctor told me I could wait for the photos which would be like 45 minutes and I’d have to pay for them or they could send me a link and I could print them myself for free. Is that normal? I don’t know why I always thought they just give you the photos right then. I told them to just send me the link and I printed them at home. I just feel like I paid a co pay so it should be covered since it’s such a small thing.

They printed ours right after the ultrasound and gave them to us without any charge

I’ve seen people saying their docs office do this now and I think it’s crazy IMO . Like you said, we pay the copay, print out a couple pics Lawd! I guess they think buying the paper for the machine is a big expense but I think that’s something they should not charge for jeez. At least they give you option to send it to you I guess.

Sounds odd.. for my ultrasound the tech just printed them out right away and gave them to me. They even did 3D right away and I was only 7w5d. 
Your already paying for the ultrasound so you shouldnt have to pay extra for the pictures

We got to choose. 1 free photo that they print right away. Or they'd put all the pictures they took on a USB and charge 10 dollars. But I'm pretty sure they charged more for the USB and not so much the pictures.
