Do you post (allow your family to post) pictures of your babies on FB or any other social media platform?

Having a huge family debate and would love everyones opinions.

Our rule is that if you post a picture of our kids - you have to be in the picture ( the person posting it)

I don't post or allow anyone else to post pictures where my kid's face can be seen / recognized. And I assume people close to me ask my permission even when it's a photo from a distance etc. I like my privacy and I want my kid to be able to decide (when she's old enough to understand the concept) if she has pictures online or not. I think it's not something I can decide for her, since you can not 100% undo it later. 😊

I don’t post a lot of pictures or anything on social media. But yes, sometimes I post my son. And it’s only once in a blue moon our parents will post pictures of him.

No pictures posted by family. We post a few pictures at his birthday (and I gave PT graduation an exception). But no one but my husband and I post pictures of his face.

My family are great for asking if it's okay for them to post photos and normally they are in the photo or his face isn't totally showing.

We have nothing on social media, only a few profile pics. None of our family members post anything too, and we didn't specifically say anything to them. One or two profile pics as well (didn't ask for permission but we don't really mind that, coz it's their photo too). 
I suppose I only truly mind if someone else is basically broadcasting my baby's life when I'm not.

My mother’s side of the family lives 2,000 miles from us in another country. We use social media to connect and share experiences. We keep privacy setting battened down but we do share pictures. That being said I’m always careful sharing pictures of other people’s kids even my brothers I ask before posting and often pictures are creative in a way they don’t show the kids faces

Nope. I don’t allow my child’s face or name on any public platform. We’re foster parents and we aren’t allowed to do so for our other little loves so I will not allow it for my bio baby. It’s been hard to enforce because at first people didn’t understand and “just wanted to show off baby N!” But they’ve all come around and it’s not a big deal anymore! 
We get creative for family photos. Like for Halloween he was a pot of spaghetti and I covered his face with a wooden spoon for the pic. Or we just turn him around for group photos.
