Cyst on umbilical cord

I had a scan today, at 12 weeks + 1, because I’m high risk they did a phase 1 anatomy scan to make sure everything is forming fine. The high risk ob advised me that I have a cyst on my umbilical cord, he said although it isn’t enough evidence but there have been reports that it causes some type of defect or abnormalities. It took everything for me to hold back tears only because my spouse is so use to me being strong but I wanted to cry so bad. He said the first step is to wait on the NIPT results, and see what the results are and to do a repeat anatomy scan to make sure everything is still developing fine then go from there.

Has anyone ever had one or know if anyone?
