Father jealous??

So we are first time parents and suddenly my boyfriend is jealous about the baby spending more time with me and being more happy when baby is with me, like everytime baby is crying he cant comfort her and as soon as I hold her she stops, like he wakes up around noon, he used to play with her a lot more in the beginning and then he stopped because he “gave up” I keep telling him to hold her more and he doesnt want to anymore, hes making me cry because he says the baby doesnt like him & baby is getting more attached to me which is making me feel bad and more depressed than I already am. Is anyone ever dealt with something like this? Btw our baby is 7 weeks.
