Shaving after giving birth ?

I am wondering if its ok to shave down there after a vaginal delivery. I am 3 weeks pp. How long did you guys wait to shave down there ?

I shaved like normal. Every 2 weeks or sooner. I really dislike long pubic hair and especially want it gone when I'm bleeding. I didn't have any issues shaving. I just made sure to keep any shaving cream away from my vagina just in case. But as an alternative, you could get the razor/trimmer thing and just use the trimmer side if you have any concerns!

I can’t remember how soon i shaved tbh. I think It took a while before I went all the way down, but I shaved the top part pretty soon after we got home. Can’t stand not shaving for more then two days

I trimmed by about 2 weeks each time (once I was done with pads) but didn’t shave until around 4 weeks.

I shaved the morning after. I was just careful and felt with my hands before I put the razor to the area to make sure it was okay. I’ve had 2 vagina deliveries and always shaved the next day. I can’t stand hair down there.
