Second Baby After C-Section

Hey mummas,

I just got the positive test for baby number two a couple of days ago and we are beyond excited. For my first little one I ended up having an emergency C-section after a failed induction. They had asked me if I wanted to wait or book in for a c-section and I opted for the latter. I just felt like I needed him out safe and was afterwards told I made the right choice as there was meconium in the fluid and later also found out that the cord was tightly wrapped around his neck. I still, to this day, have huge anxiety and trauma about what might have happened if I hadn't opted for that cesarean. As a result, trying for a VBAC hasn't crossed my mind, I just want to have a safe delivery.

So, very long intro but I wanted to know what other people's experiences were with their second baby after a c-section with their first? What did you choose to do? How did you feel coming into your second birth?
