DVT? Someone help

Has anyone ever had DVT? Almost 26 weeks pregnant ,my right calve and up behind my knee sometimes my foot has been hurting feeling achy/ tender/ throbbing and sometimes It feels like a major charlie horse in my leg and I have to sit down can barely walk. My Obgyn is sending me for a leg ultrasound today and I just keep working myself up. Didn’t know if anyone had something similiar happen and what did they do for you in regards to leg ultrasound / treatment/ labor 😩😩

The ultrasound is painless, they scan your entire leg to check flow/for a clot. If you have one, they’ll place you on lovenox injections.

I had something like that I went to the er and they said I ha done in the past but my vein fixed itself so it wasn’t the reason for my pain turns out I had achelies tendonitis ... I was about 10 weeks when I had that. Hopefully it’s not a blood clot luckily they are easier fixes now when my mom ha done she had to stay in the hospital for a week in if and blood thinners now when I went the last days they just give u a shot and send you home most cases

my dad had this they made him take blood thinners, if you have this it is very dangerous specially during pregnancy, he showed up to the emergency room around night time because it was getting hard to breathe, anyways he ended up passing away because the clot from his leg traveled to his lung & blocked one of his lungs which caused major organ failure so his kidneys heart brain & liver basically every organ was oxygen deprived so after they’re deprived from oxygen from a long time there’s no going back. he was basically brain dead, they did try to save him even after that by giving him more blood thinners but if you give a person too many blood thinners they will bleed out so eventually he was having multiple heart attacks, had a major one and bled out so he passed away that way. DVT is very dangerous specially during pregnancy, because of what happened to my dad I went was referred to a hematologist (blood specialist) who put me on levonox (blood thinner) to prevent any blood clots but you do have to do a whole panel testing. my obstetrician said she felt more comfortable referring me to an actual specialist in blood and i think that’s what you should do. an obstetrician can only do so much for you but a blood specialist (hematologist ) would have better answers, and explanations. before putting you on any blood thinners there are blood tests they need to run aside from an xray. when it comes to blood clots the best way to find any are CT scans is what i’ve been told by multiple doctors. i would say, if you get diagnosed with any make sure you take your blood thinners and you will be safe because if you don’t take them even after finding it you have blood clots you can die or have legs amputated. i sure hope that’s not the case for you and that you do not have any blood clots because they’re scary. i don’t have any myself but my dr said it’s best for me to the lovenox shots because i do have a genetic factor (protein s deficiency)
