Is it usually true that you carry high with a girl, low with a boy?

I have one daughter who was always high up... I'm now 5 weeks pregnant and I wonder if I'll be the same this time! 
My friend had 4 boys and she carried low with them all.

No it's not true I'm carrying low everyone usted to say I was going to have boy since Im carrying low but I'm actually having a girl. The way you carry doesn't determine gender as everyone is different.

I think how you carry usually depends on your body/torso.

I had the wives tale experience with this, my son carried quite low the entire time, my daughter (currently 29w4d) is very high and spends a good amount of time in my ribs lol. 
I also had lots of the stereotypical symptoms with boy and girl pregnancies so I can see how they could continue to be wives tales.

i think it depends on your body structure but for me this “myth” was accurate, baby boy has been low since day one, i honestly kept waiting for my big round belly since i see some pregnant ladies with such high bellies but i’m 31 weeks pregnant and my baby is still low

Nope! I carried one son really high, and the other 2 boys really low. 
My daughter was kind of in the middle.

I carried really high with my first daughter and I’m pregnant with another girl and she’s so far down in my pelvis that it hurts to walk most times. So in my experience there’s no truth to it
