Can the scan people know roughly know when your period was??

Question

My last period was the 24th of March. Which would make me due the 29th of Dec. 
Although, I think my period may actually have been on the 27th. I wasn't tracking etc this time round. I wrote something different on here and on my diary!!! 
When I eventually get my scan in 8 weeks will they be able to tell at all?

It doesn't matter when your last period was. They can tell the gestational age and therefore when you ovulated/conceived. When you had your period is technically irrelevant because a woman with a 28 day cycle will ovulate a whole week earlier than a woman with a 35 day cycle even if they got their last period on the same day. They just use that as the initial estimate until you get your dates from the ultrasound.

Once they measure your baby it doesnt really matter when you last had a period. Doctors/midwives just use this as a estimate to book in your scans and appt. Once you have your dating scan you get your overall due date.

They don't know when your period was. But they measure the baby and tell by the averagr lenght how old that fetus is.

They will use it as a rough estimate but they will take their own measurements and determine your due date based off of that if you cant remember

Neither the baby nor your body cares about what your projected due date is. Very few babies arrive on the due date.
