Liquid Geritol for TTC??!!

I have been doing my research and came across a lot of rumors stating Geritol helps with fertility. None of the stores near me have the multivitamins, they all have the liquid version so this is the one I purchased. Which one helps with conceiving? Am I able to take both?￼

You cannot take both. When taking both you run the risk of overdosing on a vitamin which can cause serious illness, be sure to pick one. Here, on Glow, many women prefer the liquid over the pill because they claim it gets into your system faster. I have no idea if any of this is true, but I’ve read far more success stories with the liquid than I have with the pill, however, I have read success stories with both. Likewise, I’ve read that neither worked at all. It’s important to understand that Geritol does not claim fertility assistance to be a reason to use their product. Independent research that I have read states that it is more likely that women have had success “at the end of a bottle” because Geritol has provided the missing nutrients (vitamins, iron, etc) that they lack in their diet. Geritol does not work for everyone, but I know people personally, away from Glow, that have successfully conceived using Geritol (they actually used the pill and their success came with the father taking the vitamins, not mom).
I am starting Geritol liquid today (4/29/2021), we purchased ours on Amazon. We ordered a double pack and received 2, 12oz bottles for around $13 if I’m not mistaking.
Also, I’ve been warned to stop taking Geritol after ovulation . Supposedly it can cause a miscarriage. Therefore, switch to a prenatal pill after you ovulate. Again, I don’t know if this is true. I’ve done some research of my own and have found very little to support this claim. However, I do suggest taking folate or folic acid while taking Geritol as taking a prenatal vitamin is highly suggest at least 30 days before trying to conceive.
Please understand that none of this is medical advice and anything you read on Glow or any other website should not supersede your dr.’s advice. But be wise about your body because dr.’s are also not always accurate (believe me, I KNOW).

From what I’ve heard liquid is the best option. This is my first cycle trying Geritol and I’m using the pills. Good luck.
