Baby name disagreement

L

It hasn’t happened yet, but knowing my fiancé’s hard-headed personality I’m expecting a disagreement on baby names. We don’t know the baby’s sex yet, but he told me the other night (granted, he had some beers in him), that he wanted to name the baby Charlie Thomas, regardless if it’s a boy or girl. Charlie after his dad and Thomas after someone he looked up to like a dad who passed away recently. I don’t care for the first name just because it’s so traditional and I wouldn’t want it for a girls name. I’m fine with the middle name if it’s a boy, but not if it’s a girl. Anyone find clever ways to work together on picking a name you both agree on? This is my first child and his 2nd child.
