Did you use a motion bassinet?

Question

Currently looking into purchasing a bassinet that self rocks, like the 4Moms one or the Graco sense2snooze. But curious if anyone had a hard time transitioning baby out of the bassinet to a regular crib once they out grow it. I worry that baby may get too used to the motion making the transition even harder.

We have this one which isn’t a motion bassinet, but it moves slightly with the baby’s movement which is ideal for teaching self soothing. I absolutely love it.
My friends used the Snoo bassinet and it actually has a weaning mode to help you transition into a regular crib. Maybe the other ones you’re talking about have a weaning mode too?

I had the DuoGlider and my son napped in that until we transitioned him to a crib for naps (he slept in a still bassinet overnight in our room). The transition was actually really easy, I made it very gradual because quitting the glider cold Turkey didn’t work for him. 
So the glider I had rocks, vibrates and plays sounds. It also has varying intensity, so when I started the transition I would go from the higher intensity he was at, and would lower each one gradually. So first I gradually decreased how intense the rocking was until he was sleeping with no rocking, then I did the same with the vibration, and then used white noise on my iPad instead of the glider. He slept a couple naps in the glider without any movement or vibration and then I moved him to his crib, worked like a charm!

The night I moved my son from his moving bassinet to his crib we had no problems. He slept through the night!
