Will i be getting my period again shortly?

I’m a little confused and would appreciate some help if anyone could relate or explain things better for me??

I did the Xulane patch from Aug-Oct 24 but stopped Bc of allergic reactions. Let my body recover from it and didn’t start a new BC (the pill- Minastrin 24 to be exact) until 4/4/21, this is my first pack

So I took my last white pill today. My dr told me NOT to take the placebos for possible allergy reasons. So just to be sure, I would start taking my pills again Sunday the 1st right? I know it’s probably a stupid question but just want to be sure as this is my first pack!

I know my period SHOULD be coming up...

But since getting off the patch in October my period was 60 days late (since late October/late nov I didnt get it again until late feb-was not on any BC during this time)

I decided to start the pill Sunday 4/4/21 (altho the app said my period was 12 days late, my gyno said I could start whenever)

HOWEVER, I got my period 4/11/21 and it stopped like 4/16 or 4/17 but I was experiencing oxidation (brown discharge/black excess blood remaining from my uterus lining shedding I believe) for a good couple days, at least 4 full days which was a bit longer than usual for me.

I’m confused on if the period I recently had was just because my cycle has been weird and bad timing or is it because I started the pill & if I’m gonna be getting my period again shortly because I’d technically be on the placebos & this will help fix my cycle??

I hope this doesn’t sound confusing at all, I have a tendency to overthink and worry a lot so just want to make sure!
