Anatomy scan disappointment

Has anyone else experienced not being able to see baby's face during the scans? I was so excited to see my little dude today but he was facing the wrong way and just would not move for me or the tech so they scheduled me for another US at 28 weeks which is 2 months away! I'm so disappointed, especially because for my first mothers day I was going to take his new photo and put it etched into a locket. I'm just so curious about his features and I guess I'm also worried about a cleft palate because I was on an antidepressant with a risk of that in the beginning of this pregnancy. It's been an emotional day.
