Babysitter punishment too tough?

Okay looking for some feedback.. does this seem like a bit of excessive punishment for a toddler that isn’t even 3 yet? My daughter I guess snapped a crayon on Monday at daycare (I am sure she was doing it to be a little turd .. she is impulsive lol), so the babysitter said she got in time out.. but then she also wasn’t allowed to play outside that day AND isnt allowed to color the rest of the week?! I’m a little frustrated with this punishment. I would get it if she kept breaking crayons after being told not to, but she broke one crayon?! Ugh.. I just feel like our babysitter is so tough on her.. but I feel like I can’t say anything without seeming like a crazy mom
