Postpartum Bleeding

I had a vaginal birth and my postpartum bleeding seemed normal, lasting 3 weeks and slowly tapering off to nothing but some discharge the 4th week. I’m in my 5th week PP and suddenly I’m bleeding bright and dark red again, filling a few pads a day, and with clots, quarter size and smaller. It’s like a first day period but it’s been 2.5 days into the 5th week. My 6 week follow up is next week.

Should I be concerned or just wait for my appointment?
