Does your 18 month old still cry when you leave the room for bedtime?

Ours will scream and the fuss for about 10 mins before laying down for sleep. Does you kiddo do this too?

No...because I lay with him until he’s asleep 😂

No, she never has - she was fed to sleep till 11 months, then she stopped falling asleep at the breast so from that point I put her down sleepy in her cot and she rolled over and went to sleep. Same routine since, except after weaning at just after 1 she has her milk downstairs before her teeth are brushed, after her bedtime story its kisses, cuddles, into cot and off I go xx

No, I lay on the floor until he is asleep for both napping and bedtime. Or my husband does. We take turns with our 3yo and we also stay in her room until she’s asleep lol

Generally only when his big brother comes into the room and runs around and gets him all worked up just as I'm saying goodnight. 😱

50-50 - depends how tired he is. Some nights he does for a minute or two but most nights he lays down on his own okay. Better than it was around a year for sure.

No, maybe once because she was teething and having a hard time sleeping, but she goes to bed on her own and doesn't cry for us

My daughter usually doesn’t but occasionally still does. A couple weeks ago she cried every time we put her in bed for about a week but hasn’t done it since.
