What do I need for baby starting to eat food.

I like to buy things ahead of time... he has a high chair, spoons, and some snack jars for leaving the house... what else do I need?!

I’m a fan of suction plates. These stainless steel ones from Avanchy are nice because they’re dishwasher safe and nontoxic. I also love the silicone bibs from healthy Happy Parent (they have little birds on them) because the pocket stays open so they catch everything and are super easy to rinse clean. When I was making purees I loved the Beaba Babycook because it steamed, puréed, and even reheated frozen food so it made my life very easy and it was fun to use. For food storage I used the glass Oxo tot containers.

Bibs! I recommend long bibs and ones that have arm sleeves. They were the best! We were not a fan of the silicone tommy tippee ones with the food catcher. The food catcher got in the way and animal fur would cling to the silicone if I didn’t dry it perfectly after washing.
