Covid vaccine at 17 weeks? Any thoughts?

Hi guys I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and I'm wondering if any pregnant moms here consider to have the covid 19 vaccine? I'm really torn. Any thoughts?

I personally wouldn’t get it. Someone in my family got it while pregnant and something happened to her placenta. Basically from what I under the baby isn’t getting much nutrients anymore because the placenta was damaged. and she has had to be watched very closely ever since. She is already 36 weeks so the baby will be fine. Not everyone has a bad reaction but I feel like it’s good to share. I think whatever you decide to do is what’s best for you and your baby.

I’m expecting twins. I had my first vaccine at 17 weeks. (Last week). I would HIGHLY recommend you talking to your OB about your concerns and if you should/want to get it. Get a second opinion if needed. I discussed with high risk doctor and OB before I got mine. Do you research and get a doctors opinion!

I’m fully vaccinated now. I’m 22 weeks. I had Covid at 5 weeks along, it was TERRIBLE. By the time I deliver I wouldn’t of had my antibodies still. The risk of having Covid far weigh out the risk of the shot. I’m still suffering from side effects of COVID months later. That was first week of Jan, it’s now May! I can’t imagine going into labor and having Covid, that’s where most moms die from covid is during or after labor. Covid causes blood clots and all sorts of other complications. I’m now high risk due to having Covid. This pregnancy has been horrible compared to my other 2 as well. I spotted the entire month of January from Covid as well.

I got my first shot of Pfizer at 17 weeks. I had a bad headache for one day and a sore arm for 2 days, but that’s it. Baby’s still moving around in there so I think he’s fine. I go in for a scan in a couple more weeks and then I get my second shot.
I work with kids, who are not old enough to be vaccinated yet, so I felt it was worth it.

I got my first Pfizer dose last week at 13 weeks. 14 weeks now & baby is doing fine so far. My biggest advice is do not listen to anyone (both the pro vaccine people & the people saying miscarriages are up without including sources - YOU NEED SOURCES). 
Do your own research. Make sure you are reading legitimate sources, not opinion articles. And make sure you understand the population of people being studied in these articles (sample size matters), and repeatedly of research data matters. Do your own reading ❤️ and if you do all that & still aren’t comfortable with that vaccine, that’s totally fine. I just chose to get it because I had Covid in October & my antibodies are long gone. I did not want to risk getting it again & losing this baby over it (especially since this is my rainbow baby & I had my miscarriage last year when I was diagnosed with Covid... may or may not be related)

Not me since my girl is 2 but I know quite a few people who have gotten the vaccine at different stages of pregnancy and they and the babies are fine

I just talked to my OB about it today and she is recommending to get it.
