Egg surgery update

I don’t have a cute fluffy picture. I have 2 chicks though, one is very healthy and strong and the one I helped out from DYING is alive and struggling.

He’s hatched, but weaker than his sibling so what I’m going to do is boil some eggs and let them eat it. Yes you can feed baby chickens, eggs.

They basically are eggs lmfao

It will help it gain strength.

But I never updated yall after I showed how I cracked a hatching egg open and got the chick to breathe

I am going to try my best to help rehabilitate him essentially. Being born was hard as hell for him.

The single fact that I have kept it alive this long is astounding

Here we go. Since I came back home he’s gained the strength to get up and talk to me but with one eye closed and Gary being supportive

He ate on his own!!! He really is trying y’all.

A lot of people who raise poultry would just kill him. But I’ve never been like that, not unless I saw suffering that needed to end. He’s not even suffering, he’s fighting. He’s getting up and walking around, eating on his own, and talking his head off. he has a will to live and I think that’s worth supporting. I have him on medicated chick feed as well as giving him eggs.

I have done this with a lot of chicks who grew up to be the strongest of their flock because I gave them a chance. We shall see.

Do y’all have any name ideas for this one?
