ex calling

so I was with my ex about 6 years. bad breakup for petty reasons honestly. we both moved on. then I tried to double back but he didn’t receive me. fine okay. since the breakup i’ve spoken to him multiple times for closure or whatever. but nooowww he’s started to call me “just to talk” and we speak for hourrrrsss on end. keep in mind I’m single and dating. he’s in something committed. it’s not that we ever speak about being together again because we don’t. it’s mostly just regular conversations, like two friends.

idk what to make of it. friends say he misses me but I really don’t read that much into it. thoughts?
