Probate court info?
Idk if it’s different for each state but for state Ohio.
——There is no will——
So my dad recently passed he has some property and belongings. He has many children a lot weren’t really sort of his life. Well his oldest child I feel is trying to take control and may try to be sneaky with everything. How does probate court get started like how will me and my other siblings be notified about it? Is it possible our oldest could go behind our backs and take everything? Everyone else wants to keep the property in the family but I think he wants to sell it and all 32 cars he owns for money. My dad loved everything with his life. We never been through this stuff before so what do we do? If he got it started we would some how he noticed right? If the property for some reason can’t be kept I. The family and has to be sold I’m also concerned we won’t have equal share in it. Reminder there’s no will. Do we each have to get a lawyer? What’s the easiest way to do that? Please any information would help. I’m 24 the oldest sibling I believe is in his 40s but my dads kids all range in ages (he got around🙄) me and my three siblings from my mom were around him the most it’s funny he pops up out of nowhere and is trying to take over all a sudden. I really don’t trust him along with another sibling I feel is being fake and working with him.
