Finding it hard to pinpoint my OD

Hey guys!

Does anyone else have this issue? Any ideas what's going on?

About 4/5 days before my predicted ovulation day, I have a day or two with ideal CM (eggwhite consistency) and a light 2nd line on the ovulation test strips (it never reached a clear positive result) so I don't know for sure if I ovulate or not.

Then, after a few days the app shows I should be ovulating and should be at my highest fertility. BUT during this time, my CM has reduced and my ovulation testing is showing a clear negative result.

Am I ovulating earlier than the predicted date? Am I ovulating at all?

This has happened for a couple of cycles now and my following period still starts on the predicted day, according to the ovulation date as shown on the app.

Any insights will be really appreciated!

Note - I'm 26, I have PCO and used to have very irregular periods, my cycle has leveled out in general in the past couple of years
