Complete Placenta Previa
Hello! I’m a FTM and just had my anatomy scan at 19w4d. According to the sonographer, baby girl is looking great. However, I have complete placenta previa. She said she’s seen cases like mine where it moves out of the way in time, but there’s always the chance it won’t. I did some research (bad idea, I know); it seems statistics are in my side, but the dangers are terrifying. I likely won’t hear back from my OB’s office for a couple days, and I’m not sure how to process it all. My cervix is nice and long at 4.5cm, and I’ve been working out steadily with no bleeding or complications. Can I keep working out until told otherwise? Any advice or positive stories from mamas who have been through this is appreciated. 😊
