Alittle frustrated

My husband has not been able to go to any of my appointments due to covid restrictions at my doctor's office. I scheduled my 20 week anatomy scan and I asked my midwife would my husband be able to finally see the baby. And she said they still have the restrictions but they are trying to talk to the main doctor about lifting the restriction on the ultrasound.

I'm frustrated because if they don't lift the restrictions I would have to pay out of pocket to get a private scan so he can finally see our baby boy. He's only heard the heartbeat because I have my own doppler but I know he wants to see his son for the first time rather than wait til October.

Any doctor's office allowing more than one person at their visits? I live in Texas.
