Not going to be seen by Dr until 13 weeks

I JUST received my referral from insurance to go to my ob (im about 6 weeks, I found out around 4 weeks)and the dr is completely booked until im 13 weeks pregnant!! No ultrasound, no dr visit in my first trimester, nothing!!! Is this normal? My insurance has been a struggle already so switching drs isn't really something I want to do rn. I also chose this dr specifically because I wanted to go to him. I just feel like 13 weeks is so far along!! Im already anxious about this pregnancy being viable and now I have to wait another SEVEN WEEKS to even speak to a dr. Very overwhelming.
