So when my boyfriend fingers me I can kinda push a little when he’s going really fast and loads of water sprays out which I always guessed was squirting. Kinda feels like I need a wee when it happens but I’ve read that’s how it’s supposed to be. But I’ve also read it’s meant to be an orgasm and I mean, I don’t think I’m feeling it as an orgasm 😂 so am I squirting or what? It just doesn’t feel “good” like an orgasm but it’s alright I guess

You are quite right. Squirting is not an orgasm. It can happen during an orgasm, or at any other time during stimulation or penetration.
In a woman, the urethra is very short, and the sphincter muscles closing the bladder is right there where you can put pressure on them from hard rubbing through the vaginal wall.
During stimulation, the blood flow to your pelvis increases dramatically, causing your bladder to fill rapidly. When he presses on that front wall of your vagina, it puts the sphinter muscle and your bladder under further pressure causing it to release that fluid. If this happens during sexual activity, we call it squirting or gushing. The fluid is mostly diluted urine. If you let it dry, you will smell the typical urine smell.
