Would you ever have a relationship with your siblings if they put your wife down and never come around and see your kids?

Currently dealing with this... my husbands brother and girlfriend are wack. They don’t like— I’m assuming because when I was pregnant with my first born I told everyone not to get in his face kissing him. I didn’t say it in any rude way. And I thought we were cool. His girlfriend through us a surprise baby shower and after our baby was born they wanted us to pay them back for the baby shower.

My husband said no because we didn’t know anything about it and it was a surprise.

Then they started calling me weird because of my social anxiety and panic attacks, then that led to them calling me ugly, I don’t feed my baby because he just wants breast milk, I’m not a good mom and so on

And he still talks to them.

Yesterday I found out that his brother said, “the one who’s married to the devil 🤷🏼‍♀️” and I flipped. He didn’t stand up for me or anything.

I stay to myself 100%. I don’t gossip and I’m shy.

They are having a baby and they invited us to to their baby registry and gave us their address so we can send their kid a gift when they don’t even come around and see their nephews... that’s wack.

My husband always said, be the bigger person, just try to come around.

His brother invited us to their house, we showed up, only for him to call my husband and say “never mind my girlfriend is sick”

So yeah... I tried, and they make no effort. They are toxic people and I’m done trying.. and for him to call me the devil? The audacity of people. 😔

I got mad at my husband for not standing up for me and he said he done his part... by talking to them.. if they didn’t wanna talk with him it wouldn’t hurt him one but.. how is that him doing his part?
