What results do they give after a D&C?

I was told if I want the results it’s my responsibility to call the hospital and ask for them. What results? Like could they have results as to what caused the miscarriage or what? Because they did mention putting everything under the microscope.

My doctor asked me before I went back if I wanted to have the baby tested for genetic issues. They can tell if the miscarriage was caused by that. Mine was not and I was sent for other tests that led to knowing I have a clotting issue. Any time I get pregnant I have to be on levonox shots and I have to take a baby aspirin indefinitely.

Yes- I’ve had two d and c. One was determined to not be a molar pregnancy (they thought it was) the second was determined to have ended in miscarriage due to an extra 16th chromosome. So they can usually determine what went wrong if there was a genetic issue.

I wasn't given that option after mine. My OB sent me to a MFM doctor since it was my second loss.
