Pls help me understand?

Last night I posted that I'm 10 weeks pregnant and that when I was in my shower cleaning my vagina with just my finger and water as i usually do (not squirting water in BTW) I noticed my cervix was open, as I explained it was about the width of my middle finger and asked if it was concerning as a Google search wasn't helpful.

All the comments consisted of "what's most concerning is you're cleaning your vagina, it's self cleaning" "get your fingers out of your vagina" "you're risking your pregnancy by putting your fingers in" etc. Out of all the comments I received, only one was helpful.

Naturally I got a little annoyed and decided to delete the post, but I'm confused also...

Why is it so wrong for me to do that? I like to get any discharge I have or whatever that's still there out at the end of the day? I just generally feel cleaner afterwards and been doing it for years, it's very rare for me to have any sort of infection, I don't use soap inside, only on the outside which I made clear in the updates BTW but apparently that's still wrong?

But why? I was in the shower, my hands obviously clean, wouldn't that logic also say I shouldn't masturbate, let my husband stick his fingers inside of me or even his penis? Also if I didn't do that, I wouldn't have noticed my cervix being open and calling my doctors to ask about it.

I have no idea, is there something I don't know? 🤔
