When to set up 1st obgyn appointment

I just got my first positive this cycle and it is still really early I’m only 3 weeks and 3 days. How soon do you call and set up an appointment with your Obgyn?

Call them anytime and they will tell you when they want to see you. Probably not for another month or so

Call clinics around you and they will want to know the first day of your last period. Most around me see you at 8 weeks. Congratulations!

i had my first appointment at 6 weeks where they conducted an ultrasound to confirm i was actually pregnant at planned parenthood since i had not chosen an obstetrician at the time but normally at an obs office they do them anywhere from 8-12 weeks.

The ones around me won’t see patients until 6-8 weeks along. Just call and tell them you found out you’re pregnant and they’ll set you up for you first appointment!
