What would you do? Long rant

Would you get your husband and the father of your children a Father’s Day gift and birthday gift even though he didn’t get you anything for those events just because plans changed on those days and he didn’t plan ahead? My birthday and Mother’s Day sucked to say the least. (Besides my kids of course)The only 2 days I enjoy and love getting attention. He said he’d make it up to me but never has. My birthday was 2 months ago. Never wished me happy birthday or Mother’s Day especially on behalf of our toddlers. Anyway out of anger on Mother’s Day when he made me get up early to tend to the kids I made it very clear I wasn’t going to get him anything for Father’s Day or his birthday. Well, I designed photo canvas prints of our kids that I just love. I made them with intentions for a Father’s Day gifts. Should I go ahead and get him gifts anyway or stick to my word? I should be the bigger person but that hurt he didn’t stick to his. I don’t expect a lot (gifts) it’s just the fact he didn’t stick to his deal of making those days up to me.
