Bassinet, crib or other solution?

We need help deciding which sleep option is the best. Our son is 8 weeks old and when we woke up this morning he had completely turned around in his bassinet. We’ve also seen him go from parallel to perpendicular (kicking the sides with his feet).

So what should we do a why? Are any options blatantly unsafe?

Options

1) bassinet that he can move around in already (he’s not rolling over in it just scooting around)

2) crib that he hates and is hard to get him in and out of because it’s so deep and he’s so small

3) crib mattress on the floor

4) pack n play (which he hates and I worry about because the foldable mattress seems flimsy)

5) something else I haven’t thought of yet?
