Second Child Baby Shower

I'm due the 5th of February 2022.

This is my second pregnancy, and I did have a baby shower with my first but it was awful. My whole pregnancy was awful. My SO was into drugs, the whole thing was a nightmare, I barely remember my baby shower because I just try to blank it out 🤦‍♀️

This pregnancy is like second chance to enjoy it, and have it 'normal'.

My SO has been clean almost 2 years, and I really want to re do everything, maternity photoshoots, baby shower, and just everything FUN you can enjoy being pregnant.

But I know it's kind of frowned upon to do a baby shower for the second child?

Just looking for any opinions.
