my baby is sitting sunny side up right now at 38wks (and with the shape of my pelvis it’s dangerous to deliver him like that ig ??) my doctor told me they won’t make any decision for a C section until delivery just incase he flips on his own. idk if it’d be completely different if he was breech though

yes she was a very active baby, she went breech to being head down to breech to head down to breach my last appointments until she decided to induce me at 38weeks and 6 days because her cord was wrapped around her neck as well.

My youngest flipped over to head down at 39weeks. But there they routinely offer vaginal breech delivery - so they wouldn't schedule a C-section regardless.

They usually don't offer turning that late anymore. I suggest call and ask, because different docs do it differently.

I attempted an ECV (at 37 weeks) and when it was unsuccessful they scheduled a csection for 39 weeks. I was also offered another attempt right before my csection but declined

Mine went breech the day before my 37 week appt and the midwife got me in with the specialist to do an ECV. It was successful!
