MIL advice needed

Hi all, my MIL asked if we want her to stay with us and help out when baby is born . I was hoping to have the first few weeks with my partner and baby and try and establish breast feeding and routines. It is my first pregnancy and I have recently been diagnosed with GD my partner doesn’t realise why I wouldn’t want MIl and FIL to stay for a few days /weeks either after baby is born or after first few weeks, for days or a week they live 5 hours away, I said happy for visits but it’s just thought of having to feel like should host with newborn and it’s a difficult situation feel like going to cause tension between me and partner :(
