When should we try againAfter a C-section

so my husband and I have decided we want more kids. we just had a daughter five months ago.. we want them to be somewhat close in age would trying to get pregnant after our daughters first birthday be too soon?? it's really hard to get pregnant I have two kids four year age difference and my four-year-old doesn't care about the baby lol so I want them to be a little closer in age if I can￼￼￼￼￼

Speak with your doctor about it. I talked to mine 6 months after my c section and he wanted me to wait for 1 year before I get pregnant. Waiting exactly a year and we got pregnant first month. My doctor said I can do a vbac or repeat c section.

I had our 2nd son via c-section then 4 months got pregnant with our twins which I had by c-section too. We’re trying for our 5th. If I’m pregnant those 3 will be 2 (1 month out from turning 3) & 2 years old when this baby is born. I never talked to my doctor about it. If you truly want info & the best time then speak to your doctor

I think five months would be too soon. Most doctors recommend at least waiting 12 months minimum, but you can always schedule an appt with your OB to get their personal opinion since they know your body more than anyone else does. :)

We started trying after one year and it took us 4 months. I had a successful VBAC!

I’d talk to your doctor. Recommendations can vary depending on your personal health and previous pregnancies. 
I have had two c sections and am about to have a third. Each time I got pregnant 9 months PP (planned) but I got the ok from my doctor. If he would have suggested I waited I would have. 😊
