How long does it take to Regulate your PD. After being on birth control for years?

I have been on birth control for over 6 years using the Nexplanon implant in arm. (Switched it out every 2 years). As I’m getting older (just turned 32), my husband and I decided it was time to get it removed in March and start trying. I did and got my period right away.

I decided to wait about 3 months, to get my body to regulate and my period has been all over the place. If I weren’t getting older, I would totally be up for waiting more.

I got my period in April for 11 days. Then after 52 days, got it again at the end of May, for 4 days. Hoping to get my period on June, and start trying ...how long did you guys have to wait for your period to regulate ??
