Didn't know where else to post this but please help!!

So I went to the doctor about a month ago now due to ongoing pelvic pain for the last 4-5 months, and found out I have an 8cm cyst on my left ovary, so I got referred to a gynecologist and I went and seen my gynecologist today and he has informed me that it's actually not on my ovary it's next to my left fallopian tube but it doesn't look like it's attached to the tube so he doesn't exactly know what/where it is so I have to have an MRI to see if they can find where it's attached to and possibly have surgery to remove it, but I was wondering if anyone's had anything like this and had a good outcome ?
