Pull out method? Does it work?

Question

I’m allergic to condoms so I’ve never really used them in my long term relationships. Pull out method has always worked for me. 
My fiancé and I have been trying for 2 months now to conceive and he’s the first I’ve ever let finish the deed. (If you know what I mean)
I’ve always thought I’m infertile because I’ve never been pregnant but is it because the pullout method actually works???

You’ve most likely just gotten lucky with when you had sex.

I did pullout method for 7 years not once got pregnant took us 9 months with our first and then with our second we got pregnant in our first try.

I've been in 2 long term relationships and both times I've replied on the pull out method. Never once got pregnant before I actually started trying (and both times while trying, I concieved within the first 2 months). It is worth remembering the risks though, of course don't do it with a partner you've not been with long, or if you're in an open relationship. I asked my partner to get tested first, and my ex was a virgin when we met so I deemed it safe. Of course there's also the risk of pregnancy, make sure if you do use the pull out method - you don't do the deed twice in a row or after he has masturbated, as sperm cells can get left in the pipe and come out in pre-cum. I'm allergic to latex, so we kept non-latex condoms (that sometimes still irritate me a little) for if we wanted to do it twice in a row, or have 2 sessions close together. Urinating between sessions helps because it cleans out the tube, but you can never be too careful.
Overall, I would opt for some kind of birth control too. It is risky putting all your trust into your partner. My partner, before we started doing pull out, had only done it twice before and failed to pull out in time the second time. A success rate of 50% would have had me running for the hills if he had told me before (he had only told me he had tried the pull out method before and nothing more. My own fault really because I presumed that meant he had more experience with it). Luckily I was on the pill for the first year of our relationship and we never had any accidents anyway, and even if we did - with me having PCOS and him possibly having a lower sperm count, it would have been a happy accident.

I’ve never been on birth control. My husband and I relied on pull out method for over 7 years and never once had an “accident”.
Just got our first ever BFP a few weeks ago after actively TTC for 8 months.
