Ivf questions

My husband and I are considering ivf. We have done two IUIs and struggle with the thought of continuing them because it feels like throwing away money that could be spent towards IVF. For those that have gone though ivf do you have any advice and do you mind sharing the price you spent? Did you take out a loan or did insurance cover? Is there an insurance that you can get that has infertility coverage? Also, has anyone had luck with grants ? Thanks in advance
