So I have pcos. I was put on metformin probably 6 months ago. I never had super weird periods. The longest cycle I had was 33 days. This month I decided to try vitex and I’m not sure if that was the best decision. I use OvuSense to detect ovulation and this month has showed that my body geared up to ovulate and had failed ovulation. I decided to try the vitex because I would get 6 days of brown spotting before my period and I assumed it was for low progesterone. I asked my doctor about it who said the metformin should have been helping with that and to just wait it out. I just feel like my body is broken and I feel like my doctor just brushed me aside. Has any one had issues with vitex showing no ovulation? Or maybe I shouldn’t have combined it with metformin?
