Do I really need a maternity bag?

Question

Or could I get away with just a regular bag? I just want some organisation in there, but maybe that could be arranged? Anybody notably a specific diaper bag or anyone who just can not live without one? 
What about hospital bag? Just a gym bag or small suitcase with wheels?

I have 2 under 2 so a big diaper bag is a must. For a hospital bag, I just used a gym bag. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have same questions about diaper bag. I think it’s needed because it has all the pockets designed for baby stuff. It seems like some of the pickets waterproof and baby bottles pocket keeps it at the right temperature. I would go for a diaper backpack that I can hang on a stroller. Up to you Momma.

We have this diaper bag and its huge. It has so much room and storage which is great as I have 4 kids and this baby makes 5. And two of my kids are 3 and soon to be 2. So they still have stuff to carry around. As for hospital bag we just used a duffel bag I picked up. We also have backpacks we could use instead if we want. We don't take alot with us as I don't like clutter.

You can use any bag really, this is the bag I've got. Proper nappy bags do have lots of pockets but I find just putting things in snap lock bags is easy too.

I have a backpack diaper bag that I bring on outings where there might be a lot of walking (the park, the boardwalk, etc). We used that for daycare as well since it fit everything. I also got a Kate Spade tote bag on Black Friday that I use when we are just going shopping or will be out for a shorter period of time. I use that one the most since it grows with your little one and just looks like a regular bag. 
As for a hospital bag, I brought a duffel bag and it worked well for me.
