Will you use Diaper pail?

First time mom seeks advice: Is diaper pail necessary?

We’re reusing our Ubbi from our first baby for this one because it’s still in perfect condition and doesn’t smell because stainless steel doesn’t absorb odor the way most of the plastic ones do. They’re not really necessary in the beginning when baby poop is mild and sweet smelling, but once they start solids a diaper pail is very nice to have.

I love ours! The baking soda pucks really help contain the smell. The only time I notice the smell is when I open the pail. Even better results if you wipe down the inside of the pail with Clorox or something each time you change the bag. Well worth the money and I couldn't live without it.

Not necessary but definitely worth it! It really helps with the smell so much more than a regular trash can.

It's not a necessity but I wouldn't give mine up! I love that it has multiple "doors" to keep the smell out of your house! I wanted something with a step, and this was a great investment for our family.

Yes!! You do not want to keep smelling those dumps! Its not TOO bad when its just milk but WHOA BUDDY once the solids start... you do not know stink until youve cleaned up a spinach and prune dump

Love this!  Perhaps I don't need it but it certainly makes life easier, and that's important as a mom.  It holds in smells, can be opened with the foot pedal so can be used one handed, and you can use regular tall kitchen bags with it instead of buying special ones, which is the ULTIMATE selling point for me. We buy bags at Costco and save a lot of money.  I am very happy with this pail!
