Trash pickup

So I'm new to this whole adulting thing and having this responsibility. I'm wondering, if they came for trash pickup last week on Tuesday morning, does that mean that they'll come this week on a Tuesday as well? Before last week they always came on a Monday so I was very confused when I went to take the trash to the road tonight and none of my neighbors had their trash at the road
