Hpv talk gone wrong

I want to know what y’all think about this.... so my husband got upset that I told my close friends that I have hpv... which I’ve been having for 7 years now. And for me it isn’t a big deal that my close friends know. But he got really upset, that I told something so “private” to them. Which is when I told him, “my body my choice.” He didn’t like that. I just don’t understand how it’s okay for a male to go and tell their friends who they have slept with, but it’s wrong for a women to tell her female friends she has hpv? Which is something so normal now? Plus at first when I got diagnosed he thought for the longest time he didn’t give it to me... which I was shook. Makes me think he should go back and take sex Ed again....
