Should I quit?

Hi guys. I’m 16 and I’m going to be a junior in HS. This is around the time when most people start driving lol and I am too. I currently have a 2009 Pontiac g6. It runs pretty good, just needs to fix the thermostat so it can pass smog then it’s good. Anyway I’m also in cheerleading. Where I live, competition cheer is a pretty big deal for my school and it takes up almost ALL my time. This summer, I have practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. I get Friday and the weekend off. I’m thinking about getting a job. My mom says that if I get a job to help her with payments, I can get a new car. I will have to help her with the payment. So all of my money would go to my new car. 
What I am worried about is cheer, a job, and getting good grades. I always get A’s, so I want to keep that up. I honestly really want a new car. I know I have one, but I just want something nicer. I don’t know if I could balance all of those things. I’m thinking of quitting cheer. The only thing is if I quit this year, I can’t join the next year. Which is my senior year. So I’ll probably never cheer again. What do you think?

Don’t do it , your grades are BY FAR the priority at your life now. In 10 years ( heck, in 5 years!) the car you are driving now will not matter, but the grades can be life changing.
English is not my first ( or even my second) language, but does not really matter were you are from: if you are blessed enough to have someone paying your bills ( house, food) and can concentrate ONLY in school, do that.

You can do it! When i was in school i had Golf tournaments on monday, would race to work in less than 30 minutes, tuesday was band practice, wednesday was church if i went(my mom would make me), thursday was my golf practice since i couldn’t male both tuesday and thursday due to band, and friday’s i had football games. I still mamaged to work at Taco Bell part time!

Do what's in your heart...if you love cheer is say stay with it, it's only going to last a little longer...and you can always get a new car later, no need to have a super fancy car at 16. Your lucky you even have one! I never had the opportunity of having a car at that age. I'd say when you feel like you have the extra time then get a job and start saving. A new car will always be there....cheerleading won't. Just do what feels right 😊❤️

I’m also 16 saving up for a car. Since we’ve been online it’s been fairly easy keeping up but it is pretty stressful. I will have to quit my job when I go back to in person though because I also take college classes on top of my high school classes. I would say try it out and if you can’t do it then drop either the job or cheerleading. If you don’t plan on cheerleading being a career for you then drop that but if you don’t want the car that bad then drop the job. Totally up to you but don’t put to much on yourself if you can’t handle it and have to much going on.
