Stories welcome mamas! Please!

Em

Would love to hear all stories. The good, the bad and anything in between!

I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant. I'm already high risk so I've been going for weekly scans. Last week (at exactly 29 weeks) they caught that my cervical length was 2cm, it has shortened by 1.6cm in 1 month. (The last time they could measure it). I've had a lot of pressure super low down, almost feels like somethings going to fall out (even before the scan), braxton hicks but nothing else. No bleeding or spotting. No leaking of fluid that I know about, just regular discharge. They seemed pretty concerned. The scan was done in a different town than where I live and they let me go home. Haven't heard anything from anyone since. I have a drs appt on Wednesday with my high risk dr (and another scan right after that). I'm wondering how long other mamas have made it after being told their cervix is super short.

My last birth was pretty crazy. (No labor) I was awake to go to the bathroom, had some "cramping" and within minutes I had a baby in my arms at home. (No I didn't make it to the bathroom) So with that being said I'm pretty worried about having a 30 weeker at home!

Thank you in advance!!
