Idk if y’all have seen but there’s a viral video going around IG and Tiktok saying this woman lost ALL her teeth from pregnancy. I’m big on flossing and brushing and I never heard this about pregnancy. Is this true, have you lost teeth from pregnancy??

My teeth have been destroyed by my last two hg pregnancies but I take supplements to help encourage dental health and keep up on oral hygiene.  I’ve not lost a tooth through my four pregnancies, 3 of the pregnancies being hg

I brush my teeth I flossed mouthwash everything but since four pregnancies my teeth are breaking

My dentist just told me you can ruin your teeth if you vomit a lot. He said to just wash with water first, wait 30 min, then gently brush.

My lower gums have very slightly receded after first pregnancy. But all my teeth are still very healthy even after not affording a dentist for several years. 
Calcium plays a big role I understand.

Pregnant woman are more susceptible to gingivitis. The high hormones can make your teeth loose or recede your gum line. I always get swollen easily irritated gums when Im pregnant but never lost any teeth thank god.

Yes I did.  Not all of them but my back 4 molars literally disintegrated in my mouth during my first pregnancy.

I just learned about this too and I’m terrified. I think genetics plays a role too. I’ve got 5 crowns I don’t need to lose anymore teeth so if I think just take good care of yourself and take calcium supplements

Pregnancy ruined my teeth and two years later I’m still so bothered by it 🙃 I had perfect teeth, it was the one thing I was most confident about. Now I have sensitive gums and a few cavities and nothing has changed in my routine. I never knew this about pregnancy until my dentist told me.
