Why people gotta be so rude?!

My fiancé and I are FTP’s to a 13w, we went out to dinner with his family, a group of probably 12 people. Our baby is WONDERFUL you’d never know he was there. The WHOLE time we were out the neighboring table very loudly made sure we knew their distaste of having to dine out with a baby. He literally never made a single grunt of noise. Like if you don’t like babies that much then maybe they should have stayed home, people have babies and I refuse not to live my life because I now have one. 
Just so rude, keep your opinions to yourself!

The worse is when you go to a doctors office that doesn’t even play music and the baby makes a sound…. Jesus! The looks I get are terrifying. I get anxiety the second I walk in and I’m always trying to get my baby to just be quite, it isn’t fair to be honest. People forget what it was like when they had babies 😒

I honestly don't understand why it's a big deal to a lot of people - even at an upscale restaurant. Sorry they were rude to you.

i understand people wanting to not have a baby disturb their dinner because you go out to eat to have a nice night, BUT if your child was quite and didn't cry or fuss then i'm not quite sure why the mere presence of a baby is annoying to them? parents deserve a night out as well and i feel as long and the baby isn't disrupting other people then it shouldn't be an issue unless it's just not an appropriate place to have a baby

Meh. I can see both side although they were very rude. My first was a quiet and content baby that never made a sound either. She was so easy! We went out a few times with her to group dinners but always checked with the organizers first. A lot of our friends have kids and getting away for a night out without any kids around is a special treat. We’ve been told she is welcome and brought her and other times we were told that others were leaving their kids home and so we either left baby or didn’t attend. I was not upset or offended at all. My life doesn’t stop because I had kids but it did change and that’s ok. I don’t need to bring my kids everywhere I go.

I see both side. Like was this an upscale  place? Was it a family place? There are places in my opinion that you shouldn't take your baby to dine with. The whole I wont stop living my life because I have a baby attitude doesn't make sense to me. Sometimes you don't attend things because it is rude to those around you and thats ok. It does not last forever.

I dont see how this is even an argument to some ladies. Like to dine .... your telling me that if your paying to go eat somewhere,you should leave your baby at home. Or worst not leave because it might offend people. Like wtf , how is this even a app for woman with children supporting other woman with children / conceiving....  Who thinks like this, these are the same woman who complain that their lives change dramatically after a baby  and that they are stuck at home and that they feel it's unfair . Three years later when they can leave their kids at home without feeling like shit they are the ones complaining that woman shouldnt bring their babies out since it doesn't affect them anymore.... ugh I can't
